Vibram Headquartered in Albizzate, Italy and founded in 1937, the company manufactures and licenses the production of Vibram-Branded rubber outsoles for footwear. The name derived from the founder Vitale Bramani. Mr. Bramani is credited for inventing the First rubber lug soles for shoes. He patented his invention with financial backing from Leopoldo Pirelli of Pirelli Tires. The sole is designed for Excellent Traction on the wildest range of surfaces is coupled with a high degree of abrasive resistance and is a proven preferred sole even into today.
