Experienced Shoe and Leather Repairers Needed

Compenastion: Excellent

Required Abilities: Minimum 7-10 Years of Industry Experience

Manual and Finger Dexterity - Ability to quickly move hand(s) to
grasp, manipulate and assemble objects coupled with precise
coordinated movements of fingers for very small objects

Near Vision - The ability to see at close range

Arm/Hand Steadiness and Control Precision - The ability to quickly
and repeatedly adjust controls of a machine to exact positions.

Job work load and responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking repair work of belts, luggage, purses along with shoes
  
• Perform repair work for different shoes made for sports, treks and for daily usage
  
• Stitch the shoes using sewing machine or hand stitch using needle and threads
  
• Punch holes in leather and fix metal rings, rivets, buckles, laces, etc.
  
• Repair and recondition leather products such as trunks, luggage, shoes, saddles, belts, jackets, purses
  
• Draw patterns, using measurements, designs or customer specifications, and position or outline patterns on work pieces
  
• Using handtools: knives, hammers, awls and skivers.
• Using: machines: sole stichers, sewing machines, heel nailing machines, sanding machines, hole punching machines.
